Are You Sabotaging Yourself?

Argue for your limitations and you get to keep them.

Just because something has been a certain way doesn't mean
it must stay that way now.

Decide to start to change and believe a change is possible.

Do not be the person who sabotages yourself!

I see this all the time with people.

They tell me their issues and then tell me how and why
it is impossible to make a change.

It is never impossible to make a change.

The first step is to decide to change, then believe, even
if just a little bit that it is possible to do so.

For things to change, something will have to change.

Start now.  Let your old beliefs go and create a new
belief about something right now.

No matter how much "evidence" you have attracted to prove
"how right you are" in the unwanted situation, decide
it can change.

Would you rather be right or be happy?

Think about it.

Here is to you creating a shift in your life to the better!

  1. I think people are often resistant to change because it frightens them. So that's why they stay blocked. It needs courage and conviction to change things. Good luck to everyone contemplating a change.

    1. Gail,

Yes, that is true. Change is definitely outside your comfort zone. But it takes "change" to improve. So if you really want the better life you are always dreaming about, there are going to be moments of change that cause some discomfort. However, when done gradiently and with a guide to help you, it isn't so bad at all.

And, it is SO VERY WORTH IT! When you then have the life you've always wanted.

      Thanks for the comment.

  2. Your post is so right on. Change can be scary... I'm going throught it now - AGAIN! Here's my favorite quote: "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten". Change is inevitable. Eydie :)

    1. Eydie,

Yes, it can be a little scary but it is so great when you get to the other side of it. The biggest step is starting. BTW, I love that quote, too! Thanks for commenting.
