How? How? How? How? Do I get what I want?

How? The answer is so simple most people just can't accept it. I'll tell you how a little further along. First let's look at another great Abraham-Hicks quote:

“You could stand here sick with ten illnesses today, and tomorrow have no evidence of any of them. Your body has the ability to replenish itself that fast. But most of you do not have the ability to change your thoughts that fast. So the amount of time that it takes between sickness and wellness is only the amount of time that it takes for me to figure out how to let it in -- for me to figure out how to feel good, when I'm looking at something that makes me feel bad.”

Good quote. The interesting thing is this applies to everything; money, relationships, business, everything you want. You are either looking at what is and telling that story and getting more of what is or you are gradually stating a belief of a new story of what you want.

I see this with people all the time. Over and over and over and over and over and over.

Even those who give great advice to others and tell them, stop telling that story of what you don’t want.

Yet, they look at their own life and say, but it is true. The truth is I don't have this and I don't have that. Afterall........they go on and on.

I've even personally seen people have what they were asking for a little and in that moment of having it instead of being happy about it, they still tell the story of…..”but in the future, I don't have this”............and the Universe gives them MORE of the NOT having of it.

They just don't see it. Not only do they not see it, but they argue for the way they DON'T want it.

"But IT IS this way!" They exclaim to me repeatedly. And I say, "Of course, it is this way. You keep putting your thoughts, intense emotions and words on exactly how it is that you DON'T want and thus getting more of it."

I try to tell them, “look, just last week or last month or yesterday you had this (something wanted).” Trying to get them to build on the WANTED! But nope, they just would rather argue with me.

“Well Kathy” , they say,” it isn't there now is it. I can't just sit around and wish these things to happen. I have to work. I have to work hard. Nothing is going to just come to me by sitting around on the couch and wishing it so.”

And right at that moment, I think the same thing; they just don’t get it yet.

I know that no matter how much anyone thinks they know about LOA or universal laws by any name, when they say something like that, I totally know, I need to back up and go over the basics, one more time.

Which are these: All things are energy. You create by putting your attention on something. The more powerful you feel about it, the faster it manifests. This is an INCLUSIVE universe. Whether you strongly don’t or do want something, either way, you are attracting it.

You by the power of your attention are ALWAYS RIGHT! You will “be right” even to the point of continuing to attract what is not wanted.

If you believe that you have to push, push, push to make anything happen or create the life you want, you do.

If someone else believes that they can create what they want by asking and feeling like they already have it and that they will be guided if and when any action is to be taken toward their goal, they will.

There is no sense in arguing about it because what someone strongly believes is INDEED true to them. They will attract every person, place, thing, situation to prove it over and over again.

NOW, the big question that I get all the time…..I’ll repeat that……that I get all the time.

HOW??????

How do I get more money? How do I get my perfect relationship? How do I boom my business? How? How? How?

And the answer is very unsatisfying to most of you because it just seems too simple after all the work you’ve done.

You ask.

Yep, that is it. You ask.

You ask by where you put your attention. You ask by the feelings you feel.

You ask by being, doing and having the thoughts and feelings as if you already have what it is you want.

Or you ask for more of the same unwanted by talking about it, thinking about it, worrying about it, being fearful about it. You see.

Or you could be more deliberate to ask for what you really want.

You can do your best to feel a little bit more like you could have it. You find joy in what you already have.

As for tools and processes to help you do that…..there are thousands.

Visualize it, listen to music that makes you joyful, write it down, journal daily, make and look at a vision board, there are thousands of tools to help you do it.

I like to take time first thing ever morning and last thing every night and do what Abraham calls a workshop. I am grateful for all the blessings in my life. I think of all the wonderful things I have already. I think of all the things I want and I ask for those things and for guidance that if there is any action to take, I will know and be guided what action and when.

I also listen to pleasing music at different times of the day, eat foods I enjoy, talk to people I like etc. every day. I keep my attention on what is wanted the majority of the time.

Try those things or find other tools that help you to be in alignment with your bliss and joy. Because, the only reason you want anything different anyway is because you think that in the having of it, you will be happier.

So just be happier and thus you will be in the vibrational alignment with that which you want to attract and thus will attract it.

  1. Sometimes I get so focused on the one area of my life that the progress happens slowly and there are setbacks, that I need others to remind me of the other successes in my life.
For some reason last night I got to thinking about when I moved to Israel first in 1987 and again in 1990. In 1990 I left a community and job I loved, and boufriend I loved with all my heart and soul, picked up and moved half way across the world - one month before the invasion of Kuwait. I thought what I miracle it was that I got myself here and through all the trials and tribulations: sleeping on friends couches, and temporary accommodations for the first 8 months, getting scudded the first week in my new apartment, difficulties getting a job even as a secretary, despite my college degree, etc. etc. I never thought to leave. I just plowed forward.
What this taught me is that when I have single-minded focus, NOTHING STOPS ME - NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!

I committed to bringing that same single-minded focus to the business I'm creating and I have no doubt that I will see results!
